KOAAㆍGTT SHOW in India

KOAAㆍGTT SHOW in India 2024

The Indian government is encouraging domestic production by introducing various support policies and incentives to promote domestic production of auto parts, which is why automobile OEMs are expanding their domestic procurement rather than importing parts. India operates a Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) system to encourage local production in the automobile industry, which is expected to create various opportunities such as localization and entry into the market. KOAA and GTT SHOW in India 2024 (International Mobility Industry Exhibition, India) will form a mobility business place where local buyers, buyers, governments and local governments gather together to support excellent Korean companies entering and exporting to India

India’s auto parts industry, the world’s third-largest automotive seller and fourth-largest automotive producer, is expected to grow sharply from $46 billion in 2021 to $200 billion by 2026. The auto parts industry accounts for 7.1% of India’s GDP and employs 5 million people, both directly and indirectly.
In addition, India ranks fourth in the world in terms of length and number of trains, and 24 million people use the railway every day. The public-private partnership (PPP) method is being encouraged for railway projects that used to be the public domain, and the modernization of the railway sector infrastructure is being actively promoted. In addition, the demand for cooperation between Indian manufacturers and foreign companies, including Korea, is increasing due to the Self-Reliant India Initiative
Korean companies participating in this exhibition can be provided with an opportunity to develop export markets through meetings with real Indian buyers.
