At present, KINTEX is already the largest exhibition center in Korea, with exhibition space totaling 108,000㎡. With its 3rd Exhibition Center set for completion in 2025, KINTEX will be home to 178,000㎡ of total exhibition space, thus leaping forward to become one of the largest exhibition centers in the world.
Emerging as one of the representative exhibition centers in Asia, as well as a central platform for industry exchange, KINTEX is driving Korea toward becoming a powerhouse in the exhibition and convention industry.
KINTEX was established via joint investment by Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), in order to contribute to the nation’s economic revitalization, job creation, and local contribution to the general public.
KINTEX not only fosters the exhibition support industry and attracts cutting-edge technology-based industries, but also strives to develop the Korean MICE industry.
KINTEX is a company that practices responsible decision-making (governance) in consideration of non-financial factors such as social communities (social) and the environment, thus taking the lead in ESG Management.
Such efforts by KINTEX strengthen its status as one of the world’s most well-known exhibition and convention centers. At the same time, KINTEX is leading the sustainable development of the Korean MICE industry by establishing a representative ESG management standard model within the industry.
